Reporting packaging data to the Åland packaging scheme
Companies that join the Producer Group are responsible for reporting on the packaging of the products they place on the market.
The reporting of packaging data will start in January 2026, when the company will report packaging data for 2025. The reporting deadline is 31 January 2026 (the period for reporting is 1.1.-31.1.2026).
Packaging data will be reported on Rinki Extranet. Producers who have joined the Åland system will have access to Extranet by January 2026.
